ExiledInWex here in, you guessed it.
The problem I see is that it would probably involve a petrol station which may or may not be en route to the match for some people.
In addition, it might lead to some long tailbacks and chaos for chicken rolls if the Dubs were playing in Thurles for example, and I might have to drive out of my way to get to the filling station as I would be going from Wexford.
Also, I'd imagine you'd need to include every petrol station rather than choosing just 1 in every county.
I like the way you think though.......................

My heart goes out to you to be so far from Home and probably having to learn the local lino and indeed its odious that you had to fogo your own , Brog or Hoow are uuou style greeting.
But back to the future and my wonderful ( I have to say that the great Mrs T had some input) suggestion of naming eating houses and filling Stations that are Gaa friendly.
If you have such aplace in a County who supports the local Gaa team or the County team then its only reasonable that these places should be made known to travelling Gaa people.
Rather than stopping at an Ireland -all Station sure support the places that support our National game teams ie GAA.
You might have to wait in a que or suffer tail backs, but sure that is great sign of an eating house.
It would also add to road safiety , where currently people stop with flasks and eat out of the boot ( sorry tailgate of a motor car ) along the roads on the way to games, and you have other passer byes who are glowering to see what is being eaten
As a traveller sure you could pin point a few stops in your part of the Country as I was never away down in Wexford

The Spar in Taghmon do dinners at the Deli and also took a sign. Daybreak in Taghmon do coffees etc and took a sign also. O Briens service station, who have a Deli also, in Barntown on the N25 on the way into town from the West also took a sign. If you are inclined to visit a supermarket and make your own sandwiches, but the Spar in Taghmon is too far out of your way, Petits Supervalue in Wexford town also took a sign. If you are looking for somewhere to stay or a posher dinner the Whitford Hotel on the main ring road around Wexford took a sign also. All of these places obviously support the GAA as they all have paid to have advertising signs at our ground Tom!

When I go back to Dublin they accuse me of having a Wexford accent at this stage.....
I wouldn't switch what I have for living in Dublin at all.

Exiled in Wexford and Viking 66 both Wexford based and not prominent Gaa Counties in either Code.
Yes both of you make sense in what you Post,
What I wold say if you were leaving Wexford and travelling over to Thurlus, it would b enice to know that a Gaa friendly eating house was neat Urlingford, or at the Horse and Jockey.(I looked at an Atlas to see what road you would take) that was Gaa friendly and recommended by the local County board.
Same if youse were travelling to Cork or indeed Limerick somewhere you could stop going to the game. I know you would probably not want to stop of the way back.
I feel it is up to the local County Board or supporters Club you say where a Gaa friendly house is .

In Cl;ooney in Sligo at the O you have mace
In Castleblaney you have Watters Diner and filling station right beside the football field that being the best / cheap;est to eat.
But owner may support Armagh as I saw him with an Armagh flag up when we ( The great Mrs T and myself) called one evening.
In Lifford / Strabane that being the Donegal / Tyrone borber you have Dalys in Lifford great supporter I am told of the Lifford club and across the Border ytou have Doland. I am told the the fuel is a little more expensive in NOthern Ireland
