Quality trolling as always. My first thought is always to ask if a filling station is GAA friendly abd which club they support. Rolo2010 (Donegal) - Posts: 746 - 24/01/2023 14:47:15 2453978 Link 0 |

That's one of the stupidest posts I've seen here DuhallowRed (Cork) - Posts: 305 - 25/01/2023 14:32:59 2454203 Link 0 |
Ill be snapped at for saying what I am going to say I suppose but , if you can afford to give 25/30/40 quid into a match week in week out, putting a drop of fuel in the car to get there is hardly an issue, most people think of the price of the tickets first and then the cost of getting there and the associated costs with such a day out, each to their own, if its down to bringing a flask and sandwiches personally Ide stay at home if you wont go in and buy a wrap or a roll or a snack and a cup of tea. Again each to their own, cheap fuel for supporters is a bit of an ask now in all fairness... Fairplayalways (Offaly) - Posts: 1037 - 25/01/2023 14:43:33 2454212 Link 0 |

If you knew the reason behind the name I am using you would understand its not offensive. Its related to the cookies and their home ground TC Park.... This thread is ridiculous and shows what a poor state this place is in... KillingFields (Limerick) - Posts: 3735 - 25/01/2023 16:09:34 2454241 Link 0 |
Fairplayalways from County Offaly Tomsmith here from XCavan. Naw Naw what I was saying was that if Gaa supporter friendly eating houses and filling Stations were identified it would be to everyones advantage. Take your own County travellind to say Cork. If it was known along the route that a Gaa house was offering aDiinner or Bap rioll for travelling supporters for say E5. sure everyone going in that direction to the game would call. One could fill up the car with fuel and if it was ones week to buy the Sunday paper ( Paper swap still takes place here) you could buy the paper. So I would be very much in favour of the County Board in each County identifying Gaa friendly eating Houses and filling Stations tomsmith (Cavan) - Posts: 4011 - 25/01/2023 16:32:08 2454245 Link 1 |
So why are you still here? you have been whining about this site for years, is someone forcing you to be on here or something? Tomsmith have you a connection to that filling station you mentioned by any chance, them cute Cavan hoors ya couldn't be up to them ya know. Because i see value in the site beyond the poor layout. Many people globally do things/use things they think are not great and need improvement as it will never improve if you stay quiet and dont look for change KillingFields (Limerick) - Posts: 3735 - 25/01/2023 17:20:00 2454259 Link 0 |
typical Ireland would come to the fore, the filling stations with close links or so with GAA hierarchy would be the ones named as GAA friendly..the others wouldnt get a look in...filling the car up with fuel is another issue...

Presumably the filling stations where you can also buy match tickets are GAA friendly friedporridge (Leitrim) - Posts: 23 - 26/01/2023 08:42:54 2454333 Link 1 |

KillingFields, you are correct, I have been posting here for a lot of years and mostly with great sincerity, with a bit of sarcasm a bit of statistical stuff but with respect to the forum and all inclusive, some of my posts have been by enlarge ignored by the forum and by the way that suits me for a variety of reasons, but what I cant get my head around is how some nonsensical, embarrassing posts like the post in question can capture the the imagination of some wanna be so called intelligent posters here. This embarrassing post as a previous poster referred to it as, has already clocked up 14 replies at speed. Trolling is not the problem here as some think it is rather it's embarrassing posts etc, etc. supersub15 (Carlow) - Posts: 3128 - 26/01/2023 10:19:44 2454350 Link 1 |
