County with an identity crisis."
Wexford clubs won 2 of the 6 Leinster titles available in hurling and football and reached 1 more final of the 6. This identity crisis you talk of must be doing wonders for us!

Well done to Horeswood, amazing fight back and huge win for the club. Great to see a Ross district team doing well in hurling as well, it's needed. Their rise has been a great story, they'll be operating in the second tier now, same as their footballers (saying that 10/15 years ago would've been crazy) Would be great to see some Ross teams make a jump to senior, always felt its a great untapped area in hurling and football, they'd have a big enough population. A talk for another day, man message is well done to Horeswood, a team who've shown great fight and heart in all their games. Would be amazing to see them win the all Ireland but very hard look past Ballygiblin from Cork.

Population wouldnt be that big there, nor in the Ross district in general. 5 of the 10 Ross clubs are in the bottom 12 population of parishes in Wexford, Gusserane, Cushinstown, Adamstown and Taghmon are in the middle pecking order and Ross itself is the third biggest parish in the county. Population of the district, Ross town aside, is pretty concerning and will be a major issue in years to come. I know Clongeen and Fethard are pretty much set to be together going forward, they are struggling for numbers even when combined, they being the third and second smallest parishes in the county respectively.

Spot on. And even with the Dublin motorway being extended to Wexford and Rosslare in the near future its unlikely that there will be any kind of commuter bump in population in Ross District as there is in the North of the County.
