Replying To Tiger1:  "We are just not good enough can beat Kilkenny but not near consistent enough and we put everything down to injuries or bad luck .Other teams have injuries and just get on with it especially Limerick and Kilkenny 5 in a row in munster and 4 in a row in Leinster shiws that."
Yes I agree we're not consistent enough, we've thrown away 4 games the last 2 years vs Westmeath and Dublin. On Limerick and Kilkenny it was the finest of margins yesterday, Clare hit some awful wides in the last 10 mins while the way the ball ended up in Buckley's possession was hardly any great bit of craft from KK, more luck than anything else to be honest. All Ireland series looks well set up, Limerick are definitely not firing like previous years but there's a mental toughness build up that makes them so difficult to overcome, interesting to see if Clare and Galway can recover from yesterday, Clare didn't at all after last year's Munster final looking back on it.

Great result for the Senior Camogie women in Nolan Park over the weekend too.

Absolutely, hopefully they can push on from this, brilliant comeback after being 10 pts down early in the 2nd half.

Spoke to lad in Kilkenny who was very impressed with our girls.

I watched it on youtube and quite how Kilkenny allowed them back into the game is beyond me. The management seemed to be making changes believing the game was done and dusted but credit to the girls they never gave up and got the breaks. Its a young Wexford team but there is a gap between them and the top teams in terms of tactics and skills. The draw will give them a boost but they have quite a bit still to go to get to the top level.

All true but any day you go to the home of the All Ireland champions and get a draw is a good day. Hopefully its them turning a corner.

Carlow were extremely competitive against Dublin. Dublin only really pulled away in the last 5 minutes. I think Tom Mullally could really improve us if we could get him

Agree 100%. But likelihood is he got 2 years going into the Carlow job so he would have another year left with them. He has plenty of experience working with teams here in Wexford, was part of the backroom under Bonnar and Dunne, and was over the very good 2018 u21 team. I'd love to see him get a cracking at the Senior job here.

He is more likely to want to get a crack at Wexford and Dublin with Carlow next year and try beat both of them than to take over Wexford I would guess.

I imagine so too. Still think he would do a good job with us though.

Hopefully whoever next years manager is, Darragh Egan or otherwise, will have his team in place ready for the weekend of the 1st July. Still wondering when they are talking to the players, which is something they said they will be doing.

I know from talking to one of the players last week that a meeting was supposed to take place on Sunday evening. Haven't heard anything from it though, and to be honest, wouldn't expect it to be the sort of thing that you'd get a lot of detail about anyway.
