New Stand For Wexford Park?

Replying To Magpie2:  "Zingy, This is a discussion board and I started the thread in the hope that people would give their opinions and that is what is happening.
You may not agree with what I or others are saying and that is your right but for you to ask the moderators to remove the topic is indeed silly and surprising coming from your good self. I was not ridiculing anyone. I was not insulting anyone and I certainly wasn't damaging anybodys character. If
you read the terms and conditions for
Posters you will clearly see that none of the rules were broken. You have a right to reply but we as posters should not be told that we have no sense and that the moderators should step in and remove the thread. I think the moderators are intelligent enough to allow us to ask a simple question in relation to the possibility of putting a cover on the clonard side in Wexford Park.
I am not an engineer or builder and wouldn't know how feasible a project such as the above would be.Finally I will just ask the moderators to disregard your request to remove the topic. I'm sure they will comply."
Apologies for getting your username wrong. Slip of the finger I'm afraid.

More to the point, why is this a stand-alone topic. There are already at least 4 or 5 five topics to do with Wexford, why couldn't this have been posted on one of them.

There should be one topic/thread allowed for each county (e.g. Wexford GAA), where anything to do with the county, hurling, football, new stand, etc. should go. This board is far to cluttered with a mishmash of duplicate and triplicate topic relating to one county.

Give over lad will you. Total over reaction. Ok the idea probably doesn't make sense but still makes more sense than you calling for the moderators to step in. What's the point in a forum like this if people can't express ideas, opinions etc. I've seen far worse stuff posted here and people haven't reacted like you. Calm down.

One of the greatest ever performances in Wexford Park was the night of the Westmeath / Kilkenny double header. I never saw a performance like what the footballers served up that night

We have many posters and one thread would be over cluttered. We should have our own section like we used to have and then you could choose whether to look at it or not. That's not our fault.

Or better yet, have separate sub-forums for each county, so that six or eight or even fifty threads about one county can be on the go at one time within that forum, instead of cluttering up the main board.

In other words, put things back to the way they used to be!!!

I for one wouldn't like to see just one thread for all Wexford GAA matters, where some are talking about a stand for Wexford Park, some are making predictions for hurling matches, others are talking about finding a new football manager, etc.

They're all separate topics that deserve separate threads and it's just a pity that they can't all go into a dedicated Wexford space like we had before.

Currently there are 3 topics on the Wexford forum and really I don't see a problem with that number or if it's 7, 9, or 11.
As viking says it allows us to zoom in on what we are interested in without having to troll through reams of stuff on what is probably the forum with the greatest number of posts in the country.
I honestly don't understand how having one thread would be better than several from the same county. As the threads run out of road they are deleted by the moderators and in so doing allows for fresh topics to be introduced.
Having a few topics by the same county makes for easy reference and is definitely the best way.

Correction. We are not the forum with the most posts at the moment. In the not so distant past the Wexford forum was the biggest by a distance. Sorry about that misinformation. I'm sure we will return to the top in the near future.

Totally agree pikeman96. My sentiments exactly. Although I don't think they will go back to the way it was unfortunately.
