an x county player in kilkenny just rang me asking did i know anyone in wexford wanting tickets, he has several he cant get rid of

Number of reasons. Both counties have "seen it before".
Kilkenny people would be fairly tight and when it comes to spending €90 on something they have seen all too often.
Neutrals turned off by €90.
Only one match. No minor. Chances of seeing at least 1 decent match halved.
Lots of people on holidays.

Seated Tickets for All-Ireland finals has been 90€ for a number of years now. Minor games wasn't a big interest, loads might go in for the 2nd half of those games or wait until the senior game started.

Hard to believe that an All Ireland isn't a sell out but in fairness if you really wanted a ticket, they've been easier to get in my experience.

€80 in 2018..think it's just that people are now watching every penny they have..if people wanted a ticket,widely available in limerick on Friday and Saturday..

Close as you get to full house even if there were a few hundred tickets changing hands around the ground for less than face value but Limerick had guts of 50,000 there, wouldnt want to be Tipperary, Waterford that are smaller populations playing Kilkenny.
