How are people finding the ticket situation thus far, some clubs in Limerick have given out their tickets leaving some disappointed initially whereas other clubs haven't given tickets out . You'd think with no minor final in particular there should be plenty of tickets to go round. Population wise Kilkenny is not big and would 20/25000 be the most the cats would bring- Limerick 40,000 maybe and the rest neutrals?? Quite a few people on holidays has made tickets that bit easier but another reason finals played so early in the year not a positive. Not surprised to hear this! My view is the neutral interest for July All Ireland Finals will be signficantly down, it isn't the same as an autumn weekend/day in Dublin with so much other things going on in July. It'll likely make Croke Park better occasions with the vast majority of tickets sold to the teams own supporters. Yes, the same can be said for football final. In both cases I think that most people who really want one will get one. For certain everyone who deserve one will get one. The ticket distribution process ( whether by design or otherwise) creates an inflated demand and it always seems like that demand outweighs the supply by 4x or 5x because people put out multiple requests. I heard only Dublin and Mayo sold out. I could be wrong on that as you would know your own county's situation better than me. We have 2,200 football season tic holders and that was when we were well down the pecking order. I expect that to max out next season or go close to same. I see terrace tickets on general sale. Never thought I would see that. Surprised to get two tickets on Ticketmaster for the Hill yesterday, just chances my arm. It showed me a handful of seated tickets dotted around the ground too but when I clicked on them I said they weren't available. Best of luck to both teams. CrokePark.ie published to its residents yesterday that they expect tomorrows All-Ireland final will be a sell out. Looks like the last remaining tickets was sold on Ticketmaster. Also and I'm only speaking from our own point of view but any time Mayo are in a final thousands of the diaspora especially in the UK and US fly home for the game.
