Replying To Ulsterman:  "Kerry or Dublin could put a B team out in the final and still win."
Dead right. Sure we're only going to make up the numbers.

It mightn't have been a great game, especially in the first half, but THAT'S your takeaway?

Well done Galway but let's be honest here , Derry are bang average , over rated and gas lighted by the like of brolly .
Galway will now have to earn an All Ireland unlike the 98-01 finals where the opposition was either poor or way past their sell by date..

More than Mayo know about winning All Irelands.

Replying To GreenandRed:  "Some footballer, some leader. Is this the longest spell he's had injury-free for Galway. Getting better with every game."
He has been injured with ankle issues since 2018 and its only this year that he is a bit more (but not completely) injury free.

Congratulations to Galway at least we will have an all - Ireland final worth watching. Imagine travelling back to Derry tonight after watching that rubbish. Not many Derry children will be inspired by that kind of football.

Congratulations Galway, it was a pretty dire game but the better team definitely won. Not sorry to see the back of the northern supporters & their vuvuzelas - very unsportsmanlike display this year from them all. Their booing & jeering has no place in our game

Doubt it.

Dublin are on a par at best with those two teams. I've a feeling we'll see that tmrw.

Kerry won't have it all their own way versus Galway should they come through tmrw. I'd see the final as very much a 50/50 game.

Plenty of booing and jeering from supporters from other counties too.

If it wasn't for us stopping at your overly extortionate motorway cafes Louth wouldn't have any industry at all.

I'd say almost everybody knows more than Mayo about winning All-Irelands

1998 All-Ireland Final was one of the all time great finals, takes two teams to deliver a great game. Not that we take much consolation from that. Certainly far from a "poor" Kildare team. Along with Meath they produced arguably one the greatest games witnessed in Croke Park in 1997.

Kildare certainly don't.
The New bridge or nowhere match is more or less an All Ireland for the Kildare, and have been living off it ever since..
Small-time..

Has anyone told Ulsterman there is plenty of question marks toward Dublin and Kerry.

Dublin aren't as good as they were. No longer have the strength in depth they once had or Jim Gavin guiding the ship they lost to Mayo last year and in the 2nd half and all of extra time scored a mere 0-4. Galway this year are every bit as good as Mayo last year.

Kerry in the last two years lost to Cork and Tyrone and lost to Galway in Croke park in 2018. Remains to be seen how fit David Clifford is either.
