Will I be able to watch the Derry - Galway game on RTE up in the North? I've been living down under since 2010 and I heard northern viewers can't watch some of the games due to sky having the UK broadcast rights or something.

Thanks in advance."
RTE have the rights to Saturday's match so there shouldn't be an issue watching it this weekend. It's only an issue if both broadcasters are showing the same match I think. So you should be grand.

Congratulations to Galway minors, much the better team in the final. Great to see young lads playing good football and playing a physical game too. Best of luck against Derry tomorrow.

I live in the North and i can get it RTE's Player https://www.rte.ie/player/onnow

And if you have any of the standard TV packages, all the 26 county channels should be on it

Also on Sky Sports

Perfect football weather and might as well be lashing rain and blowing a gale.

Boring game, with 2 pretty average teams letting the event get the better of them..
Both these teams can count themselves fortunate that they are competing in a very poor era for Gaelic football..
Imagine peak Dublin playing against these teams??
Shudders…

Not a great game at all. Galway look a bit flat but that possession game will get Derry nowhere in this match.

Unbelievable, when are umpires going to stop lying against the posts sleeping and open their eyes. That point will have to go back on before throw in for second half.

Dreadful stuff for an All Ireland SF. Derry overplaying it, Galway shooting is awful. Winner of Kerry/Dublin will hammer whoever wins this.

If you're not from Galway or Derry, there's not much to excite in this game so far. Very cagey, very defensive stuff. Could go either way at this stage.

Seems like Hawkeye needs to go to Specsavers lol.
Derry poor - Galway giving them way too much respect..

How were umpires at fault? Please explain.

Thoroughly uninspiring stuff, but it's better than watching a team play good football and be 20 points up I guess

Can't blame the umpires on this one. They correctly awarded the point. Hawkeye subsequently got in ref's ear and told him it was wide!

I was thinking the same. Galway look dead on their feet, which can only have something to do with the mentality as they've had plenty of time to recover from the Armagh game. But for all that, and all their possession there's bugger all Derry can do with the ball.
