Milky...fair enough, thats a good team selection.....not sure if Decci Meehan is going playing again next year though. Do u not think that a fully fit S Armstrong would be better suited to the corner?

Dunno why ye are all giving Brendan Bowens such a hard time about the two teams he has posted, bar one or two the team will with out doubt feature the majority of players that he has listed. He clearly knows plenty about Galwy football so just insulting his selection is not very productive.

If he's going well then by all means switch him to corner and Bane to wing, same applies with Clancy. But as i said before it all depends on his form! Decci is the best wing back we have. Can't afford for him not to play!

Brendan Bowens panel selections ARE ridiculous......the vast majority of the players he selected will not be featuring for Galway ever, let alone next year

i must apologise brendan bowens i focused my pervious comment on his second team selection which is ludicrious i don't have many problems with the first team selection- but i believe if you post a team you should be able to view criticsm without resorting to childish comments

I like the look of GalwayFan's team at the start of this thread. I'd like to see Brian o'Donoghue back in goal. Niall Coleman and Barry to alternate at mid-field and see which of them works best with Joe.

Matthew Clancy should be a starter.not the best technically or skilfully but hes a handful for backs and causes terror in opposition defences, has the bite and determination thats needed unlike bane and breathnach....

I think mullaghy has to start,he gives that aggressive edge that galway have been missing since the days of john divilly, and will liam please blood a few youngsters during this years FBD league.i.e. Michael Martin, David Warde and alan o donavon,we need a bit of steel and speed

Big Joe for full-forward,will win plenty of ball and take a bit less pressure of meehan for him to shine
