Where does it say they're calling the KKK a political party?"
Is English your first language?

The KKK are fairly far right but some might't see them the same way. Tony Gregory was a socialist, a great man who did a lot of good when some influence landed in his lap. I usually vote for the candidate and not the party. Ian Paisley looked after all his constituents apparently . Some Irish farmers don't like the Greens. So if it's he/she/them, right wing/ left wing/midfield, if they're doing a good job and not provoking too many people I'll give them some preference."
not saying this as a negative about you but thats what a lot of irish people do and it often means the best person for the national interest doesnt get elected in terms of as a td but someone who is doing the role of a county councillor does. the healy raes and michael lowry are good examples of that.
many others nationwide are the same
Most irish people vote for candidate not the party.

He'll probably land in Reykjavik instead, go and talk to the local geysers and wonder why they haven't much to say for themselves.

Will he be unveiling a statue to his ancestor who was a supervisor for the English work houses during An Gorta Mór? At a time when you only got relief if you signed over your miserable plot of land, and when they shipped little girls off to Australia.

The fawning media seem to have decided that maybe he was not such a hero now have they?

The usual rent a crowd won't be out protesting Biden you may be sure.

Wonder what your ancestors did to survive during An Gorta Mór?
Upped prices in their shop or chased the starving from the Street?
We're all descended from the survivors who had to do awful things to survive.

They didn't work for the Brits and the landlords I be fairly sure. My Tipp ones were didn't starve were evicted, most emigrated and those who didn't ended up half way up a mountain.

Anyway, his Irish ancestor was a settler administrator, as the surname indicates.

FF, PDs were Government in first half of 2007. Then Greens joined them after Election.
The FAI have been bailed out by the Government last couple of years to the tune of millions.

They pinched me for not paying license. I'm going to tell them I don't mind making the same contribution to TG4, rnaG and Sunday Game if i can do so separately. Doubt that will work :-)
