Only outcome I see coming out of this present debacle is the old "them or us" - GOP v Dems will swing to America v Rest of the world. The Republicans, Tea party sector and Project 25 have discovered a champion in Mr T who can really rally the troops, stir up the base. Now it's the whole rest of the world that's the cause of all their ills, not just the Dems and poor old Joe. Very difficult to see it ending well for anybody.

If you will be so good as to humour me in your adoration of your idol. Could you please refrain from prefacing your posts with that declaration of love for him. We on this island are watching our pension pots - those of us lucky enough to have them, be they ever so small - shrinking before our eyes due to the antics of your hero. And please remember that this is an Irish forum, not an organ of the Red or Blue side of American politics.

Since I'm not the only one that brings up Trump, Biden, American Politics, etc I'll assume you're crying because I'm not singing your tune. The person/people that monitor this forum seem fine with my posts so again quit your crying and learn to tolerate people that don't agree with you.

My money is on it going ahead. Too many photo ops for all the massive egos to pass up. Could be a bit like the Berlin Olympics prior to WW2. If the USA don't win they could be banished to - Greenland ??
