So many players not wearing gum shields in the game.

Think Armagh will win this one.

Congratulations Armagh. Well done!

It was really interesting. What was even more interesting is the amount of information that Eamonn Fitzmaurice had about the Armagh players, while having little detail on the Tyrone lads.

A direct line to his former teammate, perhaps?

If only teams could roll up in a ball and lie down like they do with Dublin wouldn't Gaelic Games be a great gas altogether?

Well done Armagh, deserving winners on the day. Armagh always looked like scoring; Tyrone struggled to get scores. Big part of this was Armagh's greater work rate in attack, always a man over. Tyrone carrying ball into possession far too much.

The big question for me is whether Armagh have the ambition to do anything more.

The parochial nature of Ulster football is its strength and its weakness. Armagh will have been hugely motivated to put one over the old rivals today, but it's questionable whether they will be as motivated in the next round.

Southern pundits don't always realise how intense the Ulster rivalries can be - for many teams in Ulster, beating certain neighbours is a life-or-death matter. Losing to your neighbour is unthinkable.

I'd like to see Armagh keep that level of work rate and intensity, but they're just as likely to be too satisfied by beating Tyrone and just underperform tamely in the next game.

Of course, I hope I'm wrong.

Obviously great to watch from Armagh point if view. Was it brutal for the neutral?? On a par to the Derry game last week? Worse than the Dublin or Kerry debacles in the provincial finals?

Nonsense - good direct game with lots of attacking football.

Good game and a great win for Armagh. Nice to see capacity attendance at a well appointed stadium. Some atmosphere and colour there.

I'd agree essmac. We're now going to have try and raise our game for next weekend and could well go out if we get too big for our boots as there was nothing won today. I would hope our flat performance against Donegal should help to keep our feet on the ground. I think another win and Armagh fans would be happy and a shot at a quarter final which would probably round off a decent year for us if we can get there.

This is the same Dublin that were dispatched out of the championship last year and relegated from D1 in the league? Wow. Defending the title is difficult but this has been one of the worst defences of an AI in the past couple of decades. Tyrone have been shocking this year and that's not being anti-Ulster. It's just a fact. .

Tyrone have been shocking, but it is hard to defend an all-Ireland. Dublin, Kerry and Tyrone are the only teams to have won multiple All-Irelands. I don't think it is also unfair to point out how hard it is to navigate Ulster, Kerry and Dublin basically win their provinces by default. Antrim are also the only team out of Ulster to not contest at least a semi-final during that time.

Well done Armagh. Better game than the all the provincial finals bar Ros Galway. We scored 2-16 from play yet most of the national analysis was on the impoverished Leinster and Munster championships plus Derry's win after a long wait. No issue with the latter given the circumstances but happy in many ways not many rate us. Anyways back to Armagh and not surprised with this result. Good chance of making the q/fs at least.

Good win Armagh, I thought ye were Ulster's dark horse this year and it turned out to be Derry (no one saw that coming).

Armagh play some nice ball from what I've seen of them so they are now in the mix.

A brilliant match. Best team won. Hopefully an Ulster team wins Sam. Id fancy Armagh. Feel sorry for some of the Tyrone players yesterday who gave it their all. Well done Armagh and may the best team go all the way.
