Rumour that game was fixed for Cavan next Saturday evening which Kildare are not happy with. Game should be played in Croke Park. Apparently Tyrone are also in favour of Croke Park final.

Are Kildarelooking to have it on Sunday in croke Park before the seniors play or on the Saturday in croke Park?

He definitely has the eye for a score. Could be doing with him on senior panel.

Either or. Kildare are looking for Croke Park because a team of young lads that's made an all Ireland final deserves to play there. Lots of these lads won't get the chance again.

As far as I know Kildare are looking for the game to be played in Croke Park on Saturday. According to the Irish Independent the Tyrone manager, Paul Devlin has also asked for the game to be in Croke Park

It should definitely be played there. The previous U20 finals of recent years were all in Croke Park, so this one should be no different.

After u20 final is over I see no reason why himself and McGleenon could nt be drafted into senior panel.

It's an Ireland final for U20s whose next step hopefully is senior teams. Why should it not be in Croke Park? Is that not our headquarters, every young players dream is to play there?
Why Why oh Why would it be in Cavan??
Are the Dubs playing in Croke Park?
If so then their game should be the curtain raiser.

Game fixed for 5pm in Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday. Absolute joke.

Total disrespect shown to both counties. If Dublin were involved it would be in Croker.

Fixture announced for 5pm in Carrick-on-Shannon this Saturday. Lovely town and county but very disappointing for the players involved.

Could easily be played in Croke Park before the 2 Leinster Semis on Sunday.

Very disappointing for the players of both teams. However, important Kildare management park this now and concentrate on winning the All-Ireland, they don't come around that often for us. That's the priority now.
C'mon the Lillies

The issue is you don't want to be playing an All Ireland final as a curtain raiser to two provincial Semi Finals. There was no way that the senior games would have been a curtain raiser to the u20 final either which is understandable. As empty as Croke Pk will be on Sunday it would have emptied a lot more before the u20's game. Having it in Croker on the Saturday wouldn't have worked either as a standalone game. It was always going to be located as much as possible half way between both counties. As annoying as it is for us Kildare fans it is what it is.

If Kildare and Tyrone players could play the guitar it wound in Croke Park.

To be fair Dublin have played a number underage All Ireland finals outside of Croke Park. A smaller venue will bring a better atmosphere probably cheaper ticket prices also.

To be fair, Kildare seniors play the following day so 2 days of travelling and expenses are having to be incurred. I'm not holding my breath for cheaper ticket prices........

The 2018 Final (Kildare v Mayo) was played as a curtain-raiser before a Dublin Super 8 game and worked fine?

To be fair it's not about the spectators it's the players.
