When the Championships were dragged out we had everyone complaining that Club Championships were being totally disrupted or clubs in successful Counties playing Championship games on Monday nights etc. We had the CPA and "Fix the fixtures" Everybody got excited in 2020 when Club Championships got 8 or 10 weeks to themselves after Covid shutdown and the "split season" was overwhelmingly introduced. Now we have moans about too many County games per weekend. What the **** did ye expect?

Everyone did not support squeezing the championships into a few months to suit whatever plans Croke Park have for our facilities. Nothing would surprise me given what is being currently suggested.
The old way was unfair on clubs and too dragged out but this new set up is too tight altogether even play the AI finals the last weekend in July- First week in August

If Roscommon go far in championship and a couple of your key players get slight injuries ( which all players do)that would rule them out for a week or 2, you won't be as happy then. There will always be club matches but can we not enjoy the county championship, by the time everyone talks about the previous match half the weeks away and another match is upon us.
