Even on the Wexford forum, nobody pays attention to countyman2022. Actually, in particular on the Wexford forum they pay him no attention.

And why would they? Countryman2022 is a clown of the highest order, as bad as ever has posted on HS.

Pretty obvious that both counties will be unhappy and probably will appeal. From the footage you can see a number of each backroom tea/substitute bench getting involved. You can see three Armagh subs jump the wire. The GAA should have taken a stronger line against subs/backroom members getting involved as they've no business being there.

The dissection of the incident is on the head, couldn't be more right.

Are you ok foreveryoung? You seem to have an issue with any points I make? I know you may not like everything you see but no need for such aggressiveness towards another Gael.

So you think Neil McDonald and Tinker Taylor one and the same? Both one hit wonders.

Welcome to the Hoganstand forums and glad you found it at last,
This thread was started bya Wally from Tyrone, there isn't a Donegal forum anymore, just different threads on the National forum, but you being so new here wouldn't know about that I suppose.
I think the CCCCCCC will be looking into Rian O'Neill's actions for sure, what would his uncle think of that behaviour? we might hear on the BBC Championship programme if he makes an appearance.

Was at the game and it was mostly handbags. If there are to be suspensions surely O Neill and Hall would be the 1st two. Stevie Wonder couldnt miss but see what they did. The abuse Murphy gets is scandalous yet nothing ever done about it. And how would it benefit Donegal to start the row??? They had won the game. Mc Geeney written all over it.

Would you fear a county that hasn't beat you in a significant game in 11 years?

Or won a paltry Div. 3 title in that time?

Have went off Mc Conville completely. On a GAA podcast after Tyrone Armagh game he started off by saying what a disgrace it was from Tyrones players and how there were children there. Then he let it slip in a jokey way about his own young fellow looking to jump the wire to get stuck in.

Not really. The rules are black and white, even if the disciplinary bodies do their damnest to make them grey.

Questions for you:

Did the footage clearly demonstrate Rían O'Neill punching a Donegal player?

What is the usual punishment for punching someone in the head?

Punching someone in the head? Shouldn't they be reprimanded? That's just so effed up. But I guess the rules are often black and white. Some discipline bodies don't do their job well and let things be.

So with the news now Donegal won't appeal and if we take it that there is no more suspensions from this my question is.

What if Armagh now appeal and when their cases have all three players playing will that mean then that Donegal will be down two players to none from Armagh?

Might I add that I don't see this happening and I believe we do deserve two players banned I just think it should be Lynch instead of McGee.

I would say Armagh will also accept the ruling and move on, they will be happy Rian managed to avoid a ban and there would be very little chance of them overturning the decision anyway, considering it's the 2nd melee they have gotten into over the last while.

But hopefully going forward we see some consistency. While the Dublin Kerry situation a few weeks ago wasn't as bad as this or the Armagh/Tyrone one, it should still have resulted in 2 or 3 bans if they want to be consistent. Teams should be well aware of what's to happen going forward if a similar situation occurs so it might stamp out all this nonsense.

Good luck to the 20s - looks to be a strong squad, on paper at least.

Great to see two ex AI winners still giving their time for the county in McGee and McLoone. Great servants.

Armagh are not accepting there punishment. Word is there appealing it. On what grounds I don't know.

Just read that as well. There's not a hope the decision will be overturned imo. Maybe on review, they might find another ban to O'Neill coming their way!

Anyone else feel that this is all just silly-buggers and premediatated on Armagh's part to engender a siege us-against-the-world mentality for the game in a few weeks? Let them at it so. I think Bonner and co are right. Get the heads down, say nothing and train hard. We'll do our talking on the pitch.
