I went with it, that Tipp's promotion was in their own hands, and that Tipp is a good goal-scoring side.
There wasn't much at stake for London; a better than expected league, but promotion out of sight. So, I gambled that London with nothing left to lose would make it a blow-out weekend in famed Thurles, and that Tipp with its destiny in its own hands would motor into an extra gear.
Fair play to London, they gave Tipp yards of it. And congratulations to Tipp on winning promotion.
