Replying To yew_tree:  "Good to see Mayo schools strong again this year. All Mayo A final fins and Mayo schools in C And D finals."
Well yew_tree, what do you think of Seamie O'Shea taking the reins at Ballymun Kiickhams.?

Jamesie McC, his old nemesis, had a big part in roping him in... ;o)

"He's just living in the area," said McCarthy, rubbishing the 'rumour mill' which had suggested that John Small might be taking the role after retiring from Dublin duty.

"Seamie has kids down in the Ballymun nursery and stuff so we nabbed him one day and had a chat with him. He's been roped in now. We were joking that we used to knock into each other a fair bit on the pitch over the years but no, we're delighted to have him in with Kickhams."

Best of luck to Seamus at Ballymun. His kids play for the club so seems to be fully integrated in there by now.

Also well done to UL last night at the 11 Mayo boys on the team/panel.

Looks like a sold out game up in Letterkenny. Won't make this one myself. It will be a good test. Donegal look fit and have most definitely not fallen back from last year. It will take a very good team to team them this year so they will be in the last 4 at the very least.

Will be interesting to see what sort of team Andy goes with. I'd take a draw right now. In an ideal world you'd get safe asap and then experiment/bring in fringe players.

I think the new championship format has rendered the league less important tbh.
