Think the likes of Kieran donaghy might have a different opinion to yourself. Not saying he's as good as star but that's exactly what he made a footballing career off , and he was pretty good at it!

You could also look at it another way. There's more chance for some clubs to finally get out of Junior? I think it would benefit the county team in the long run term.

If you got the united parishes out of junior it's probably a competitve competition all right. Rock, Kileevan currin and Oram are probably all equally as bad as each other

How exactly would it benefit the county in the long run? All you would get is 2 extra clubs both going up to senior and intermediate that simply would be out of their depth in both competitions leading to one sided matches…The only thing that would benefit the county would be copying the Kerry structure and getting intermediate and junior clubs amalgamating and playing senior championship…

I'm all for the Kerry model especially with our number of clubs but the logistics is hard.. when do you play your junior and intermediate champ ? Also are you going to run a senior club champ also ?

Tell us your enlightened ideas….

Utter nonsense! and I imagine many of these guys playing with the universities could be on scholarships where they have to play these games to benefit.

Do away with the group stages in all 3 competitions, go back to straight knock out like tryone do would free up a few weekds…

Unbelievable from a counties u20 manager to request this from players. Surely the point of u20's is to develop young players? Instead this manager thinks his personal success is more important than giving a good standard of football to young talented players!

What about promotion / relegation ?

When do you propose the club champ is played? Remember only a senior team can play in ulster

When would regional teams train? Is the junior and int champ running at the same time as senior?

Your head is in the clouds.. dont suggest if you dont have a plan?

I watched the freshers championship game between DUC and UCD last night- Doogan-Burke, Carolan, Meehan, Doherty, Jones all started. McGinnity, McQuillan, J Mooney ,Conor Burns all on the bench.

Your head have been in the clouds for the last 2 years on here…we're not a county with a 100 clubs… wouldn't be hard to find a slot.. start the leagues earlier be a start.. why don't you ask the currin man who's living in Tyrone to find out what way their relegation/promotion works in a straight knock out competition…
