Replying To Left Full:  "Obviously a kinnegad supporter with all your recent posts. CTG hot favorites in the hurling & look what happened. Kinnegad have a huge chance on Sunday, no point talking about a leinster campaign until sunday evening."
I am really sorry to burst your bubble, I have no connection to Kinnegad. I have backed The Downs to win the Championship from the very start. If they were playing the St Loman's team in their pomp on Sunday I would be saying the very same things about The Downs. As I said before no other team in Leinster has been doing what The Downs have been doing, obliterating teams by an average margin of 12 points. Naas were mentioned but they actually lost a game before the Kildare Final.

The Downs are now second favourites in the bookies to win Leinster, so obviously a good bit of cash being lumped on them, that's confidence for you. Kinnegad are not even listed online.

To suggest that a team with one championship title would beat St. Loman's in their pomp is just off the mark. Loman's won 8 titles including a three in a row, reached a Leinster final and always competed well in Leinster campaigns. Their best side with Heslin, Dempsey, O' Toole, Reilly, McCartans by 2, Daly, Whelan, Geoghegan and others deserve to be ranked alongside Garrycastle, Shamrocks and Athlone sides of the past. The Downs need to win a lot more than one title in 20 years to achieve such status

Iarmhiabu you have had some wild takes over the last few weeks!

The Downs are quality and will go into Sundays game heavy favorites but Kinnegad have good of chance as anyone. They have the experience of playing in the final 2 years ago. If they can knock over a few two pointers early it will be an interesting game.

Regarding The Downs in Leinster, if they win on Sunday they wont fear many. However round 1 is against Offaly which will probably be Tullamore who themselves fancy their chances in Leinster. Semi final is then against Ballyboden who in my opinion are 5-8 points better than The Downs.

The St Loman's team in their pomp would be the one that won the 3 in a row in 2017, reached the Leinster final, that was obviously their best side. I don't know where you're going by naming the 2 McCartan's and Geoghegan, they were still in their nappies. It took The Downs just 1 year to reach the Leinster final, they were beaten by the team who went on to win the All Ireland. Yes, I think this present team from The Downs would beat the 3 in a row St Loman's team but you would disagree anyway.

Kinnegad probably should have won the final 2 years ago and they were very good to beat a faltering St Loman's. No, I can't see The Downs tripping up. They have just walked through every team so far.

I give kinnegad a good shout sunday as it's a local derby and a county final but if they were to pull of a win I wouldn't expect them to give leinster much of a rattle at all, neverminded win it
