Weekend Club Hurling Games

Leinster Club SHC semi-final
Clough-Ballacolla (Laois) v Kilmacud Crokes
St Rynaghs (Offaly) v Ballyhale Shamrocks

Munster Club SHC semi-finals
Kilmallock (Limerick) v Midleton
Ballygunner (Waterford) v Loughmore-Castleiney

Ulster Club SHC semi-final
Dunloy (Antrim) v Slaughtneill (Derry)

A nice 25/1 accumulator there! Throw in Kilmoyley and Toreen as well and you'd have a nice Christmas! Value bet for me this weekend has to be Clough Ballacolla at 3/1. I would have thought that as a 50/50 game. Torreen at 7/5 are also good odds.
Loughmore are long odds against Ballygunner. 19 weeks in a row for the same bunch of players is some feat. The Ulster semi-final will be a hard earned win, whoever comes out of it.

I think Dunloy, Kilmallock & Ballygunner will win. Who are Tooreen & Kilmoyley playing?

I fancy Kilmacud and Ballyhale in Leinster, in Munster I think Ballygunner will win and the other game might go to extra time and might sway Midleton's way. In Ulster I'm going for Dunloy to cause an upset, Slaughneil have been on the road a long time and a comfortable defeat in the Derry football final with plenty of dual players might signal there not at the same level as recent years.

I don't think Dunloy will be an upset. Bookies have them favs and i'd call it 50/50 - all based on what I've seen from the teams in the past however.

[bSlaughtneil captain a major doubt for Dunloy showdown/b]

Slaughtneil hurling manager Michael McShane says "it's very doubtful" that talisman Cormac O'Doherty will be fit to play in Sunday's Ulster club SHC semi-final against Dunloy.

I think Ballyhale will account for St. Rynagh's on Sunday next.

Fantastic. A nice little double with Clough Ballacolla and Tooreen.
Nice start to my accumulator too! Might need to cash out before the Ulster final if results goes right for me!

Absolutely crazy odds for a team as strong to be 3/1 today.

I was a bit tentative about Clough Ballacolla, so backed them at evens with a 4 point start. Still, I made a profit.

Congratulations to all them winning teams from the "weaker" counties. Nice to see the game doing well.

Antrim hurling teams are mentally brittle. Dunloy bottled it AGAIN. No big surprise, Antrim teams can't hack it on the big stage.

Only outdone of a substantial win by Rynaghs finishing level after normal time with Ballyhale. Putting a team at 1/8 into the accumulator wasn't even going to give me much! I think the bookies should pay out!

I should say the NORTH Antrim men talk a good hurling game but never deliver when it matters.

The down men of ballycran will hopefully perform better than Dunloy did, big big underdogs but they will fear nothing. I was there the day we beat slaughtneil and the buz around the team, parish and members was second to none. Obviously slaughtneil have improved since but I would say we have to. Looking forward to it

That's a bit patronising. They have a good few of the top players on their county team. A team that's probably in the top 10 or 12 intercounty teams in the country. The so called weaker counties dont necessarily have poorer senior clubs. Just they have less of them to pick a senior intercounty team from.
