He's a brilliant dual player and senior county would rob him of that. Let him do the LC. On a separate note the lack of competition outside the top three and the order of games they played meant clonkill were completely undercooked for that final. No sharpness or intensity. Well it's inevitable really, after the championship he's had, back to back man of the match performances in semi final and final. Those Raharney youngsters didn't necessarily benefit by being included on the senior county panel at such a young age. Young O' Reilly needs to be carefully handled with school matches, dual commitments, county under 19s and the LC. Colm O' Rourke, son of Denis a former hurler for Dalton's and now club chairman. He's a fine hurler, had an excellent final, good stick work, might need a season of conditioning but he has a lot of good attributes to be an inter county hurler.
