Replying To martyW: "Would amalgamation teams like used in Keery football bring any benefits to Westmeath hurling? For example, Have 4 Senior teams playoff a group and final for Leinster championship and then combine Senior B/Intermediate teams into 4 district teams and have them in an expanded 8 team Senior championship?" There is certainly merit to it but senior B and internediate would have fixtures issues
