Plunketts Delvin an excellent game played in great spirits. Delvin played some excellent hurling.
Delvin probably should have sealed the win considering they were 4 up heading into last quarter and with all momentum.
Plunketts very resilient however and would probably take the draw considering they were on the ropes with little time to go. Plunketts put up a serious fight to save the game and club is in a great place with young talent and good coaches involved.

Great senior b final. Dean Ennis took some abuse and not a free given. Some of Josh Coll scores were exceptional. Shocking to ask team to replay midweek and play again Saturday. Could games have not been on same timeframe as tomorrow with room left for extra time.

Great day in the park for Westmeath hurling. It was great to see two high quality games before a big crowd.
The pity is both games didnt go to replays but Turin were a little naive and will learn.Saint Brigids played very well and if they get commitment can compete in senior b. Turin will win the intermediate if not in 26, in 27.
The Senior B final saw some fine hurling a strong physical Plunketts against a Delvin who have some very stylish hurlers.A draw the fair result.
I thought both referees were excellent.

Agree regarding the 2 referees, let the game flow and both games the better for it, A few dodgy hand passes maybe but so hard to tell.
Senior B replay this Tues 8pm in Lomans. The scheduling though has to be called out as ridiculous. Was there a 6 or 7 week break between the club leagues and championship commencing ? I'm sure there were great efforts in relation to a master schedule gambling on how the county teams perform but I still think the club championships should have started earlier. Maybe even extra time should be played for finals but not penalties. Think there's a few Plunketts lads playing with Shandonagh on Saturday and the Leinster IHC is also fixed for Saturday. Plunketts hadn't played for 5 weeks.

Dean Ennis had a fine game but he's not the biggest and repeatedly takes on defences which is fine but bigger, physical defenders are allowed to tackle hard, it happened throughout the field and there were few complaints, fantastic match and the ref seemed fine

Fair point but the schedule was agreed by all clubs and has to allow for possible progress in Tailteann Cup. When that didn't happen competitions couldn't be brought forward a fortnight as club players knew they were off and many had hols booked. We are a dual county and that makes scheduling very difficult I'd imagine, it's unfortunate that Leinster starts next weekend. A replay midweek is deserved by both teams
