Why would the clubs reject him. The clubs sanctioned a committee including a former player to research the position and their recommendation will be accepted by the clubs. We don't know who else ran. They will be announcing the proposal LOL The club's won't reject it, it will be ratified tomorrow night unless a delegate asks to postpone the appointment so that they can talk to their clubs. If you are only getting a number 2 in to see if he can step up to being a number one then surely you would be better going with a local man? Five clubs represented at meeting if true is a real indictment on the hurling clubs. Everyone knew there was one item on the agenda.
