Fair play to Ederney's wee men who recovered from a disastrous 1st half to spring ahead of the Derrygonnelly pubbers but a late comeback by the pubbers ended the game in a draw so they have to do it all over again next weekend.

Very enjoyable Ederney - Derrygonnelly game, esp 2nd half. Replays are unpredictable - either another tight affair, but sometimes one team runs away with it. Ederney will obviously be the more disappointed of the 2, their 3rd goal, set up by a powerful run from their number 13, should have been a match-winning score. Looking fwd to the replay

So much for the ambitious soundings from the Strawhat camp who were to take the intermediates by storm from their chief according to insiders. Mind you Devenish could be the championship victors rather than the predicted Belleek. Looking at the seniors Ederney could retain the cup as Harps looked rattled. I'm very surprised that St Pats chance of winning the juniors had been abruptly ended. Before all the games are over I'd say there may be some more surprises.

It does seem like a favourable draw for yourself, but I wouldn't write off the Leckers. They have been a relatively good team in the championship of recent. This will be a very tough game for Enniskillen. I could see it going either way

Even though Ederney clawed back to level at the end of normal time, it was Harps energy which was more notable in both the first half and in extra time that sealed their deserved victory and are now on their way their way to take back the New York Cup.

I would say that's a fair assessment of the Ederney V harps games, Although with the wides Ederney had, they really could have put the game away in the second half. The quality of both teams' benches came out when the extra time hit as fatigue and cramping hit the Edereny set up with no real quality to bring on while all the harp's substitutions seemed very effective. I can not see any other team beating the harps now. Another championship under the belt for them it seems
