Killyclogher v Donaghmore tonight should be a close contest

Donaghmore can consider themselves very unlucky but you have to take your chances. I tipped Killyclogher to win the championship at the start but not sure on this performance.

Well today another Canavan was unveiled. When your from a neighbouring county you have to say....just when things couldn't get any worse they have.
Hes obviously got a load of the footballing genes also from the one and only. Tyrone are certainly on fire. The rest of us can only sit back ,dream and admire.
No point in trying to turn the tide with a soup ladel.

Just about to come on here and rave about Darragh Canavans younger brother Ruairi. County standard already. Brilliant, what a double act. As for Darragh, Tyrones Nunber 11 for years to come. Reads the game as good as Brian Mc Guigan or Colly Mc Cullagh.

Joe brolly said back in 08 that Tyrone were building a Dynasty, looks like he might be right.

I think there needs to be a wee bit of restraint applied here.

The Canavan brothers had goods games, but the opposition was very very poor.

Clonoe are still living off their glory years of 2008-2014 and have not been able to replace that panel of players. Quite a few of their starters are well into their 30's and do not have the same pace which they once had.

I hope these Canavan lads can become the next big thing at county level, but it is ridiculous to start talking about building a dynasty or stopping the tide with a ladle based one club championship game against a very limited Clonoe side.

Neither KingdomBoy or me mentioned dynasties, that was a quote from 'Run with the wind Joe Brolly. I'm saying they are Ruairi is county material already but with a couple of years experience he'll be there to stay. Tyrone at the minute have forwards all over the place. Not easy picking O'Neill cup winners with all the big names still there.

So you are wrong. He quoted Joe Brolly and then said he might be right.

If Tyrone were building a dynasty then why did it take us 13 years to win another all Ireland?

The fact is, we had a manger that ruined the guts of a decade by not passing the torch earlier. If we are building a dynasty then it is starting from now.

I still think county board didn't handle things right with Micky Harte. Only for Micky Tyrone football would still be also rans. He made Tyrone football into believers. Would Micky have thrown away the 86 All Ireland, not a hope. 2018 only for simple mistakes that gifted Dublin 1-4 at least, then Covid didn't help when Tyrone were flying. Why not look on the bright side for the future, lots of teams would swap places with Tyrone.

The Canavans are the first of the Tyrone Dynasty as father and son have both won allirelands now.

Haven't seen too much of him but I'd say right half or right corner. Reports were all along that Ruairi was better than Darragh but that wouldn't be fair on two brothers. Some of the points Ruairi scored yesterday just made you laugh, as the country would know watching Clifford swing them over.

Last years champions Dungannon 4-12, Dromore 2-22. This Tyrone TV well worth the money.

Enjoyable game tonight, Dromore v Dungannon. Dungannon current champs dumped out in the first round; the Tyrone back-to-back difficulty continues. Dromore lucky to draw it in normal time, but then won it by 4 in extra time in a high-scoring game, 2-22 to 4-12.

Not easy to pick a winner from teams that's left. Some great games ahead.

Mickey Harte's Tyrone didn't beat any of the 'Big Three' Dublin, Kerry or Mayo since 2008.

Then Harte was turfed out.

The Dooher/Logan Tyrone team beat Kerry and Mayo this year.

I can't put this in any more simple of terms.

Should be a few cracking games this weekend, Junior championship semi finals with the top 4 positions in the league involved, and the quarter finals of the senior championship. Hard to make accurate predictions but we can give it a go.

Urney v Eskra - Eskra
Cookstown v Drumragh - Cookstown

Killyclogher v Trillick - Trillick
Errigal Ciaran v Loughmacrory - Errigal
Coalisland v Carrickmore - Coalisland
Dromore v Eglish - Dromore
