Thoughts on this? From a Galway perspective it doesn't change much, takes away 2 games a year in the group and replaces them with a semi final likely against a team we've already played, or else a QF if we don't finish top 2.
For a Carlow or (becasue they're flavour of the month) kildare, does this take away the guarantee of a game with Kilkenny/Galway if you are in group 2? it looks to me like the bottom of leinster and top of Joe Mc have just been combined. making it next to impossible for a team to break into the top round robin as you'll have to get over Wexford AND Offaly.
