The influence of the National League on Championship seeding now, makes it risky to fall into Division 2. If you look at Division 2 for 2027, no handy games there. 2027 Division 1. Agreed, better to stay in division one. Promotion is certainly no easy task. It would be good to see more young players come through, but only a few have taken their opportunity in recent years - Moore and Roarty. It was unfortunate McCahill got injured this year, he looked like he was able to step up in the league. Of the rest of the Four Masters contingent, two that aren't in the panel yet, I think have the best potential to offer something at senior level, along with McCahill - Tomas Carr and Callum McCrea.
