Replying To totalrecall:  "We won't be getting ahead of ourselves, cork upset us 2 years ago down in pairc ui ring hitting us for 3 goals. They have sone very good footballers and are athletic around the middle third. Their full forward line will test anyone with a decent supply of ball."
That game was mis-managed badly by McGuinness, we shouldn't have let them near us. Cork are a better side now. The team was much more balanced v Kerry last time out, there was definitely a changeup in defensive shape and attacking moves. The concern is that we're short bodies in the full back and full forward lines, as this Cork team could punish us again if we go back to starting wing half forwards in the full back line.

Replying To railwayman:  "Echo that. Brilliant Comortas and an amazing feat of organisation by Kilcar. Also some very good football. The Gaoth Dobhair v Cill Chartha match on Sunday evening was a cracker. Great to see Mark McHugh togging out 24 hours after Westmeath's brilliant extra time comeback against Cavan."
I thought Matthew McClean was very impressive for Kilcar. I think it was his brother that was in the county setup a few years back. Not sure how old they are or what their work situation is, but I always thought they were two very good footballers who could have been decent options for the county.

Really disappointing that it won't be on TV. Especially when you factor in the distance from Cork to Donegal. Obviously, they feel this one is a dead rubber. I hope we prove them wrong...

Playing well in what's basically a friendly tournament isn't the same as playing for your county.
