Just on this point, I wonder would it be beneficial nominating Gallen as the designated right-footed freetaker again? We've seen Gallen be quiet in games, then come alive in little bursts. But if he was kicking points regularly, would that give him the wee psychological boost that he needs? That he is the main man scoring wise... I suppose but when you have Murphy there to take them it's very hard to give those frees to someone else, I wonder will Jim give Murph the captains armband for next season? I'd love to see him give another All Ireland winning captains speech before he hangs up the intercounty boots. Oisin I know had injuries but every man gets knocks and niggles, he seemed to regress a bit when Michael came back.
