'It's not about exact distance. How many times do i have to say it? It was never going to be in Cavan as Donegal played there the previous game. Absolutely everyone knew that'

This has nothing to do with Dublin or Croke Park. You repeated a few times that Donegal-Mayo couldn't be in Breffni, as Donegal had played their previous game there. That's complete nonsense, as shown by the fact that Mayo played their last two group games in the Hyde last year.

You either made an error or made that up, and also stated that 'everyone knew' this. Nobody knew it, as it's not the case at all.
I've literally quoted you saying something which has been proven not to be true. It's not about getting one up on anyone, but it's hard to take anyone seriously if they can't even acknowledge something as obvious as this."
The word behind the scenes was Hyde or Croker. I posted it here a couple of weeks ago. Debate the finer details if you want.

Name the times I was wrong with my information about what was going on in Donegal?

wonder will any discussion about what might happen at the chosen venue break out at any stage or are you all just gonna go round and round sniping at one another?

Here is a fact, you appear to have an opinion on everything. You have nearly eight and half thousand posts. Have you have you no life outside of this forum? I bet your on the Mayo blog forum too, probably another few thousand posts.

Donegal favourites and rightly so. Depends if Mayo can raise the level again. But Donegal are well warned.

Word is that Caolán McGonagle is out for the rest of the season, and if rumours are to be believed, Jason McGee is finished completely and won't make a comeback from his injury. I'm also told that apart from his ankle woes that Shaun Patton requires shoulder surgery, but I'm sure that'll wait till the off season. Haven't heard anything about Niall O'Donnells injury, hopefully it's not too bad.

But the good news is that it appears that other injuries are clearing up, and the likes of Eoghan Ban has two good games under his belt. And both Peadar Mogan and Caolán McColgan got the full 70 against Cavan without showing any ill effects.

I feel if we have a first half performance against Mayo like the 2nd half performance against Cavan, then I can't see us being held.

The finer detail is you said Cavan was non-runner from the start as Donegal had already played there. You repeated it again as if it was fact.
There's no debating it, it's there in black and white.
The actual fact is, that wasn't a factor at all and there is no such restriction. You should have realised that given you were at both Mayo games last year. The issue isn't the venue here, but you were caught out making something up and won't acknowledge it despite it being literally spelled out to you. It says a lot about a person's credibility.
Word behind the scenes or anything else has nothing to do with it.

Ok I was wrong? Will that make it stop? Also ignore my whole Dublin point. No problem. Jesus.

yes the word I'm hearing on Jason is really not good, you never know what can happen of course but think best to leave him to his rehab and hopefully I'm eating my words sooner than later

McGonagle is a very big loss for the season if that is the case. I think that Eoghan Bán being back will be a huge help particularly against Mayo but I think the centre of our defence has been exposed quite a few times without McGonagle so I would be very worried going forward without him.
