Replying To Ulsterchamps_32:  "Glenswilly certainly got their tactics right yesterday, they just lacked the overall quality of naomh conaill. St eunans got great joy off putting pressure in the kick out last year and Glenswilly replicated that turning over loads the naomh conaill kick outs particularly in the first half. The breeze was no douht a factor in being able to push up effectively. They generally used murphy very well at full forward but just kicked too many wides in the first half. In fairness to NC they uped it quite a bit in the second half and were comfortable enough in the end. Their bench does add something to them as well.

Overall Hard to look past st eunans. With the patton kick out and niall o'donnell back playing well atnthe weekend they shoukd have too much for the rest. And although they seem to be playing a more expansive game with putting more pressure in the ball out the field I'm not sure they will want a shoot out with kilcar as that might suit kilcar. It would great if they did and we could see both attacks go at it properly."
Great to see Niall O'Donnell going well. He had a disrupted year last year with injuries and what not, but there's no doubt about his talent. Here's hoping in 2023 that the likes of himself and Gallen can have some better luck injury wise.

I get a bit confused about all the Conor O'Donnells! Obviosuly there is the COD from Carn. Then Eunans have two. Is Conor O'Donnell Snr Niall and Shane's older brother? Then there's Conor Duck O'Donnell? Snr had a very good game the other day. He was in with the county before if I'm not mistaken for a few league games?

Replying To Lockjaw:  "LOL - behave. They were defensive but are evolving into a team with a lot more strings to their bow. Lets see who wins the different championships across Ulster but to my mind, there wouldn't be any team out there for Eunans to fear. IF of course they do become our representatives."
Not at all - last year we scored heavily - won a county final by 10 points - biggest margin I can remember for a while.

It was lazy analysis last year calling us defensive..

Conor senior is Niall and Shane older brother.

He was in county panel 2 years ago and had a nice run of games b4 getting injured.

Conor duck is the son of Ciaran duck o Donnell

On this day 30 years ago Anthony Molloy declared that "Sam's for the hills" .. one of the most popular wins I ever witnessed and the terrific celebrations that followed. It must bring back some great memories to some posters here.

What age is Conor Snr? Would the county ship have sailed for him by now?

its hard to believe 30 years ago. Some great memories from that day- remember the morning on way to match they selling Dublin -All Ireland Champions 1992 lighters in Drumcondra !! was in canal end and still remember the noise when Donegal took to the field and at end people climbing wire to get onto the pitch. Growing up it felt like you would only ever see the likes Dublin, Kerry Meath , Cork in All Irelands and seeing Donegal being there and getting it done was just incredible at time. That team will always hold special place for Donegal supporters, still feel for Martin Shovlin missing out on that day teh way he had to due to injury

Fantastic day will live long in the memory. Celebrations were brilliant. Some team who should have win more than one. Sad thinking back of people who are no longer with us who I spent a great week end with.

Shivlin missed out, but what a completely selfless call at the time.

He had a good deputy in John Joe that day.

Think he's 28.

He's been the best CHB in club football last few years and one of our most important and consistent players.

County ship has sailed - not sure why he was never fancied.

Yeah and CHB has been a problem position for a while for the county.

If my memory serves me right. I think he played a lot of league games for the county a few years ago. Good player all right but county football is a huge step up.

It's a big step up surely but if the lad is playing well for his club and they end up winning the SFC and going on a run in Ulster then I don't think he should be ruled out because of his age or the fact that he was there before.

I'm sure if Rory kavanagh gets the job he'll have him in. He should know his capabilities well. I'd be more interested in seeing Conor Morrison back but. But I'm not saying I don't rate Conor o donnell because I do. There could be 3 Conor o donnell s playing for Donegal next year..

Yeah hopefully Morrison can push on in 2023 and put his injury woes behind him. A good, tigerish corner back who enjoys defending.

The answer is in the question lad. Do a wee bit of thinking and you might solve it.
