Replying To meathbasedfan:  "county final will be a close affair, lots of very good players on both teams. Mohill have serious experience in finals, and that might sway it. 2 extra weeks training under Keith Beirnes belt will help him no end. Mohill defence is decent too in fairness. Ballinamore have a lot of options upfront, but some of them are very young. not sitting on the fence but i can see it going to a draw and replay. if not then Mohill by 2. i hope the ref does a good job. lot of pressure on him with TG4 in town too."
Any man relying on 2 weeks training to get him through a county final is lost. His legs will go if he puts himself about in the 1st half

i'm sure he has more than 2 weeks training done, i said another 2 weeks. he'll be a major force in this final.

No venue details posted up for the Junior A and Junior B Relegation finals, could be two decent matches.

Anyone hear anything?

I don't believe he's carrying any injuries and he's been training/playing all year. How are the two weeks training going to benefit him more than they would any other player?

of course 2 weeks will benefit him, he did fade in the semi final in the second half but 2 weeks will definitely benefit him as he wasn't at peak in the semi. if he can add 10-15% to his game from the fenagh game he will be a serious force. he didn't train much in america but has been training hard since he came home, i guarantee he will be in better shape sunday than he was against fenagh.

I never said it wouldn't benefit him. He was playing and training for Westmeath when he was in NY? How is a player who has been training and playing football for most of the year not ready for a final.

Strange alright that they're down for tomorrow and nothing listed, usual apathy towards the lower tiers, couldn't be hard source a pitch for them by now.

Shur you know everything about the conditions of pitches around the county. Know more than club officials about where games can be played. First in line for a job in the club when it comes up. Hurler on the ditch.

Play nice lads.
But I agree with above poster that one or both games likely are conceded and won't be played.

Really? Bizarre for a club to wave the white flag in a match such as that

No venue or time for Junior Final on Saturday 12th yet. Rumour has it that if Senior Game goes to a replay, that it will be pushed back by a week. Unfair on either Bornacoola or Eslin. If Senior game goes to a replay, it should be pushed back to the following week of the 19th/20th rather than the Junior been held at the mercy of the Senior. Pitches can't be the excuse considering they played last years one on Drumkeerin.

Also conceded, just seen something on FB.
All 4 teams shipped hammerings or conceded games to now so no major suprises

Are you sure? I had thought Cloone wasn't an option due to streaming limitations?
