Predictions this weekend. I got 6/8 last weekend, and my 2 losses were draws.

Mohill v Gortletteragh
Mohill is an experienced and battle hardened team, and they should have that bit too much for a young Gortletteragh team .
Mohill by 5

Manor v Leitrim Gaels
Could go either way, but home advantage might be enough to edge this.
Manor by 1

Ballinamore v Fenagh
Fenagh were missing a few players last week, and their return may be enough to swing it.
Fenagh by 1

Annaduff v Dromahair
Both teams will be delighted with this draw. A loss for either team and the relegation playoffs look a certainty.
Annaduff by 3

Mary's v Aughawillian
I was at Mary's last 2 games. I'm don't know who will stop them this year.
Mary's by 5

Intermediate
Carrigallen v Ballinaglera
Carrigallen had a tough league, and it's difficult to measure where their at. Ballinaglera will be happy with the consistency they showed in Div 2. There's not much in this.
Ballinaglera by 1

Drumkeeran v Aughnasheelin
A narrow last day loss cost Drumkeeran promotion to Div 1. Aughnasheelin are struggling for form.
Drumkeeran by 5.

Junior A
Eslin v Cloone
Eslin played most of the league without Conor Beirne, and his return if fit could make this close. However, Cloone has better strength in depth and should shade it.
Cloone by 4

Gortletteragh B v Bornacoola
With the turnover of players Gortletteragh have had, its hard to know how strong their 2nd team will be. I even heard one of Gortletteragh's players joined Bornacoola during the summer, which is interesting.
Bornacoola is too big a club to be playing Junior and should win.
Bornacoola by 5

Manor B v Melvin Gaels B
Manor should have the strength in depth to edge this one.
Manor by 3

Glenfarne v Annaduff B
Glenfarne showed some improvement as the league progressed and should be too strong for Annaduff's second team.
Glenfarne by 3

Exactly... SFA. Andy talked a good game and let's be honest until Graham came in was getting the door. This is the guy who early on in his management career thought it would be a smart idea to play toe to toe with Galway and found out fairly quickly what the story was. But shur look, he's now gone off into the sunset ... thanks and goodluck. Left Leitrim football in a better place... Give me a break.

Pretty simple inherited a team in Div 4 and left them in Div 3. Has each player buying into S&C which we were years behind. The foundations are now there for the team to progress

I must agree with you on this lugdrum. Even though I was by the biggest fan of him as I felt he was tactically niave at best. But kept the squad together and brought the team to division 3. Left on good terms. Well done.

I think everyone agrees that it's great that we have gotten Mickey Graham in, but did the county board really need to announce it on Monday evening? Could they not have let the ladies team keep the spotlight on themselves for 5 minutes

I'd also agree. I wasn't a fan of him and thought his decisions tactically were crazy at times. I thought having him in charge of the u20's was a good idea at first but in reality he held them back they should have left Mannion and Jones over them.

But he has left us in a better place. We have lost an unprecedented amount of footballers to immigration and we finished in div 3 (yes by the skin of our teeth).

I'm not sure about S&C though as we are still miles off other counties and it looks to be the same when you look at the size of our underage academy teams compared to their counterparts. I think S&C is something that needs to be brought in at 14,15,16 years of age. It's not as easy to instill at adult level as at that stage it's nearly too late.

don't be naive, Micky Graham had a big hand in all that and lets be honest, bar a dubious penalty promotion wouldn't have happened, Moran should've gone after New York, no other manager in the country would've been kept, only our county board hadn't the balls to do it. losing to New York isn't progress.

Will you every let go.For the final time ; it was how the team reacted to the New York defeat which is the real story. No one left the panel, they voluntary undertook strength and conditioning off season and did brillianty to get promotion without Keith Beirne.

However that is now history and it is what happens now that is important. Let's get behind them and hope they can do well next year.

we're looking back at the managerial record of Andy Moran while over Leitrim. so it has to be in the conversation. it was the biggest and most historic moment of his reign.

It's not S&C that's our biggest problem. S&C will not win games no matter how much of it they do. Just look what our ladies team have achieved by having the basics right / having the knowledge to their capabilities and use them to work to each other's strengths and know how to keep to a game plan and most importantly knowing how to play together as a team. If our lad's can't learn anything from that then maybe the gym is the place for them and let them work towards some individual sports for the next Olympics cause we'll win no games in gym.

That defeat will define his term as coach with us, and we are discussing his era. Do you understand how a forum like this works?

Replying To joeman123:  "Totally agree.Leitrim football was in bad shape when he came in and he got buy in from players ,instilled a sense of belief in the players, got them to take strength and conditioning seriously and ofcourse brought sponsors on board.

In addition he got Mickey Graham to join him and now see how that has worked out.

Of course nothing I say is going to change the views of those who for whatever reason didn't like Andy Moran.Perhaps his positivity and ambition were too much for them."
Were you at the Sligo game this year? The team were out on their feet after 20 mins played if not before. You'll come back with they played many weeks in a row, but sure isn't that what strength and conditioning is about, making sure the fitness is good in all eventualities.

We'll see exactly how good he is regarded by how many offers of postings he gets now. And indeed at what level they are. More luck to him.

Well yee are doing something right at underage at least, only Dublin, Meath and Kildare have won more Leinster titles at minor level this century. We've only been in one Connacht minor final this century in a five team competition. You've been in four u20/21 provincial finals in the same period to one for us. That is a fairly grim statistic. Especially when we hear on this forum every year...we have a great minor team. Without fail.

I know Joe you'd rather we all forget about Leitrim's worst manager in living memory. A manager who needed hand holding through his entire tenure. All history of course.
