If Mayo lost against Monaghan we could have been drawn away to Kerry in the next round in a knockout game so you can't ignore the importance of that win

Memory has improved today. A two score game and the two extra scores was Armagh Goals one of them a total gift. We'll never know how that contest would have went if Roscommon didn't play half the game with 14 men.

I know I am contradicting myself but looking at Monaghan today I am looking at a missed opportunity. This should have been a magic year

Let it go. Time to rebuild with what we have and get players in. Mentality/attitude change needed too.

Knew before today that our performance in Clones said more about us than Monaghan and today rubber stamped it.

Great stuff by Louth with 14 men for 64 minutes, all 14 men simply gave that extra 10% and fought like tigers.

Worth remembering this time last year Louth won a provincial title and struggled to make impact in the All-Ireland series they have done the opposite this year and prime example to us to what can happen if you apply yourself and play to the best of your abilities.

Looking at Louth and Mayo in an All Ireland semi final, it's a huge missed opportunity for Roscommon. Was it Brolly who said we made Monaghan look like All Ireland champions. Sorry for Galway. Thought it might be their year but that's probably the end of Joyce, Conroy and maybe Walsh. Mayo the last Connacht team standing now.
Hope Roscommon learn from this season. A great Connacht title won but nowhere near the business end of the championship.
