A few typos in my previous one above but you get the gist! Clearly some great work going on at club juvenile levels but how is it translating for Galway? The last U20 title was in 2020, the last minor title (fair enough, not long ago) in 2022, but we hadn't won one prior to that since '07. And prior to that, 1986! If that was Kerry, there'd be EGMs, and an inquisition to see what exactly was going on! We need a plan. Who's actually knocking heads together in planning to fix this? Our schools and underage teams are on the slide and aren't going to fix this organically.

Amazed that Oisin O Neachtain didn't get the MOM award yesterday, he was everywhere. Himself along with Gannon were the driving forced behind that team. Gannon looks like an old head on young shoulders, we could be looking at a future captain here, a Sean Kelly mentality about him where as O'Neachtain is a lovely athlete, full of energy and drive. A few other little gems dotted around the place for them as well like Jamie Dillon. From the Oranmore side I was very impressed with no.10 Stephen Black, later found out hes minor next year, great engine. I'd imagine you have to be a very decent player to break into these Oranmore teams a year younger because of the sheer amount of players they have at each year. This is what separates these clubs, rural clubs have to play 14 year olds in u17 just to field where as the likes of Oranmore can probably field 14 or 15 strong 16 year olds. Such a difference physically. Either way delighted to see the 'big' clubs denied an underage title to a rural club. I heard it mentioned in the thread but these MB lads really are a once in a generation group. The future looks bright in Inverin

Is it the same manager and backroom team with the minors for 2027?

Replying To Kickitout:  "At least now we know makeup of backroom team honestly it not very inspiring I know Bradshaw with 20s two years ago left after 1 year o Donnell with minors also about 2 years ago also big year for Dave Morris this be his 3rd year and so far in first 2 average at best ,, there definitely needs 6-8 new players added to whole squad"
I am trying to think who else impressed during the championship who is not already in there. Ross Coen, Diarmuid Kilcommons, Dessie Conneely, are all definites to be brought in if not then they club championship was not watched. I was a a lot of games and those three are the major ones that are not currently in the panel. Any other suggestions, I am sure that Eamon Fitz would love our opinions :-)
