Replying To systematic:  "My feeling during the game was that westmeath much better than div 3. Really good team, some great players. Their keeper is a bit of a liability even though our press yesterday was best all year.

Thought yesterday was a really good test for us and our composure at end of game.

Can see that - we won the last 2 50/50 balls that mattered."
There isn't too many Westmeath players who looked like they'd struggle operating in Division 1. Thought they were excellent yesterday,

Galway were ok in the fist half, took their goal chances brilliantly but unusually didn't take any advantage of the wind.

Second half was different, Galway were excellent for and the score line wasn't a fair reflection as Galway left a good few goals behind them.

Thats the 2nd game McGrath has been an unused subs, is he still carrying an injury? I was surprised too see O'Flaherty get on before O'Laoi.

Best to focus on the game in front, All-Ireland quarter-final and not become unstuck at that stage as previously when hot favourites to progress.

I expect Monaghan,Mayo,Donegal,Kerry to reach the last 8. No easy match up there but at least have the free week to prepare for that challenge.
