As if.. Rory deserves a chance in FBD. Worth a shot and if he isnt up to it then so be it. He wont worsen the standard at training by being brought in. Anyone have an update on new faces in the panel for FBD? GalwaysFinest (Galway) - Posts: 191 - 03/01/2024 11:39:34 2518157 Link 0 |
Lads, I am booking the London trip and was wondering was there anyone planned out there? Mayonman (Galway) - Posts: 1894 - 03/01/2024 12:41:25 2518171 Link 1 |
Not much sport on this weekend. A live stream of a friendly match before the fbd starts would make some money. brisbane (Galway) - Posts: 675 - 03/01/2024 13:17:43 2518185 Link 0 |

There's bound to be a few bolters this year as there always is, thankfully Galway don't need to many! TheBishop (Galway) - Posts: 287 - 04/01/2024 11:20:17 2518310 Link 0 |

I'm definitely heading over with 5 or 6 others. There are a good lot on about travelling, only looking at travel / accommodation options now. I'll see what the consensus is on best places to meet, stay etc. I'll stick up some info here if I hear anything in the next week or two.

"Glad you agree with my assessment" it shows some humility.

So a bit of news coming out over the last few days. Oran Burke/ Flaherty and a few others getting a chance in goal which can only be a positive, Flaherty will reclaim the number 1 jersey without too much hassle id imagine. ahsure. (Galway) - Posts: 1633 - 06/01/2024 11:48:46 2518601 Link 1 |
Any word if Michael Daly is back involved? Any other new members? allstars23 (Galway) - Posts: 48 - 06/01/2024 14:10:35 2518622 Link 0 |

Peter Cooke had decided not to return. Such a big loss to the teams chances for this year - thought he was superb. Gearoid1998ffowaed (Galway) - Posts: 132 - 06/01/2024 15:44:53 2518644 Link 0 |
I don't think you will see Michael Daly in a Galway shirt until there is a change of management. Pity because he is a Rolls Royce of a footballer. Sounds like Cooke is not going to be involved and with James McLaughlin and Hernon doubtful as well, the midfield options are a bit low.

It's annoying the way we lose players from the panel of their own choice every year. It never happens in Mayo for example (not talking about a retirement situation like Keegan or an AFL context like Mullin - totally different scenarios). galwayman2 (Galway) - Posts: 1291 - 06/01/2024 19:22:14 2518687 Link 1 |
The Dunmore keeper isn't in the top 10 in Galway and every man and his dog knows it. crankyincorofin (Galway) - Posts: 98 - 06/01/2024 20:26:30 2518698 Link 1 |
