Replying To galway19:  "Good run out for the minors in Athenry. There is a really nice balance to the forwards, all six of them can win their own ball and take a score. McCartaigh and Lohan look very good for u16s. Wexford very poor outside of O'Brien at full forward. Hopefully our lads can keep progressing and I think we can give Kilkenny another rattle in a Leinster final. Still Mikey Maher to come into the team soon as well."
There was a poster complaining about U16s being on the panel a few weeks ago. It was a fact according to him that they weren't up to the required standard.
Not only are Mac Cárthaigh and Lohan showing they're good enough, they're standing out.

Yes, that was me. If you read the post again you should understand my point. No problem if they're good enough which both are and are stand out players in their own grade but leave the other 4 on the panel in their own age group and bring 4 up from the celtic challenge. Makes sense to me as this is their minor year and let them enjoy the experience.

Very important now that we did win that u20 game against Offaly and top the group because we now get to play Laois in semi final rather than Kilkenny. Serious win for Laois, albeit Wexford must be terrible. Management need to have managed the five week break better this year than last year and keep the lads heads' screwed on given they have already beaten Laois by 23 points in the group game.

Did anyone see where a club contacted the maroon and white podcast presenter stating that it couldn't be released (in relation to Galway Vs Offaly) as the person on it was not permitted to talk about Galway hurling team???

We've been enjoying far too many 'minor experiences', and seeing those same squads collapse hopelessly at u20/u21 level.

I wonder would it be realistic for the Minor Manager to Manage the Minors and U20s?!? Maybe fortunes would change for the better.

Three years ago,in 2022 , Laois contested the Leinster minor final vs Offaly so it seems they've been consistent in transferring their level of performance and ability from the minor grade into U20. Suggests they are not a team to be taken lightly.

Afraid thats wrong Kilkenny playing laois in Portlaoise Kk couldnt play Dublin because they played them already in the group likewise Galway with laois.

What are we thinking about Saturdays game lads. Has the potential to be a season defining game for both teams.

Well im telling you what im thinking theres going to be a massive game in us and if Galway can match it fair enough but i think Kilkenny showed how poor Galway are so for me its Wexfords day.

You could also say, Dublin showed how poor Wexford are.
As a neutral, I wouldn't bet on this game. I'm looking forward to it. Big game for both sides.
