Somebody would want to tell our own TJ that he's not Joe or Cathal Mannion. Other than that he's doing well. Great performance from Lee, but will he struggle against bigger players come championship. Killeen was better when he moved back.

Big game at home to Clare next weekend now. They will probably bring back in a few of the regulars after losing at home to Kilkenny. Would imagine we would be along similar lines in our 15. The loser is likely to be relegated alongside Wexford.

Replying To Galway456:  "Yes they should but i dont think they have been properly exposed yet to inter county, the league will only do so much, lee played majority of last year but killeen never got a chance really under Sheffield and mcloughin only was used as a impact sub, I think if they get proper runs in the team it will bring them on."
It would of course. No substitute for competitive games at the end of the day.

Watching the game of TG4 it was a solid win and a step in the right direction for what it was, a league game in KK in winter. What I liked was the determination, the fight back, midfield and the half back line being able to score. What I didn't like Conor Cooney playing county still, the fact that we don't have a goto short range and long range free takers (mannion is not it from range). The ones I'm not sure about did our forwards break away at pace from the KK back line or were they as loose as we let Tipp be last week. Overall a decent game to watch and Galway deserved the win.

Writing us off fairly quickly.

Replying To Pope_Benedict:  "TJ looked 'gone' last year imo. He's 38 in 2025, or is that a miscalculation? Hardly in KKs top10 anymore realistically at that age."
Probably tells us all we need to know about where they're at right now. He's still their best player.

I'll do what I came to do before I got sidetracked. Congratulations on a good win, and a great turnaround in just one week.

Yes that it right. Wexford are 1/28 with PP and 1/25 with Boyles to be relegated which is basically an absolute certainty. Will come down to Clare or Galway to finish in bottom two also.

I think Conor still has a bit to offer. Unlikely to be a regular starter I'd say but could give us something off the bench in a tight game. We might even get more from him at county level now that he is not being flogged all year round like he has been for the past several years due to Toms success at club level.

Definitely we need to have a top class sharpshooter. Is Niland's overall game good enough to regain a regular place? Possibly not. But he does cover both short and long range

Can't see cooney starting when Kevin cooney gets motoring and Cathal mannion and concannon returns. You're right, mannion should've been off the frees and Morgan on them.

Beat Kilkenny like and that all changes. Bookies aren't clairvoyant. They generate odds based on what people are betting on. That's it.
