Replying To Oldtourman:  "You weren't too slow to turn up on the Limerick Thread Yourself, so don't go round pontificating-although sorry that is probably the Resident Pontiff's job- about good manners.,"
Nah, no interest in the Limerick bandwagon - saw Baire mentioned there by your good self and decided to pull you up on your bs.

We're playing this weekend so normal to check in for discussion.

I didn't realize there was a bouncer on the door."
No bouncer here but a discussion on the Galway team would be appreciated - not easy considering the outside noise.

The one opinion I did express you seem to have taken great exception to.

What team would you go with Baire? Are you going to have a plus one? Does Glynn start? Or is he an impact sub? Does Cathal Mannion stay inside or does he roam like last year? Does Niland start? Do es Whelan start inside or out on the 45?
Name the team you think Henry will pick, and the team you think he should pick?

Replying To katser:  "I always like the Wexford style of hurling and I would be expecting some sort of backlash from Wexford on Saturday......you would only imagine a proud team like them should be hurting after the Antrim defeat?
I know Galway aren't humming yet and definitely have a few issues to sort, but I see this as an opportunity to absolutely cut loose and go for it.....Rock and roll kamikaze hurling! high ball, low ball, fast ball, wide ball no tactics whatsoever just let the lads off the leash and let them play their own hurling."
I agree that Wexford will come out raging. Great test for Galway: Road match against an angry team. I expect it to be very close. Maybe a draw.

Ye must be delighted to have Johnny Glynn back among the tribe. He adds a whole new dimension to youraerial attack.

What is the difference between a sub, and an impact sub? One would imagine that any sub, that by definition is not expected to make an impact, shouldn't be a sub, and in most circumstances shouldn't be in the squad.

Lots of questions there but you've probably left out the most important one! I expect some changes alright, at least one in HB, midfield and HF. Niland and JC in from the start.

This is no disrespect to Wexford but when a team is hurting after a surprise defeat then I think it's a golden opportunity to hurt them more.
I think we both know that a rampant Galway could absolutely hammer them but we also both know Galway could make hard work of the win too!
So I will go for Galway to win by 7pts or more!

Interesting that Evan Niland AND Conor Cooney starting for Galway vs Wexford. I wonder who will take the frees.

You're possibly the only person on the planet 'wondering' about that.

I'd be shocked it it's not Niland. The main reason for him starting is because of his freetaking.

I have never seen a Galway Minor team with 4 Kilconieron lads on it before!! 1 in the subs aswell. That's some achievement for them to have 5 County Minors!!
Niland will be on the frees.
Our 6 forwards named for Saturday will cause some damage.

It looks like a very decent team on paper..I do wonder about Glynn coming back, think 2019 was last time he was involved at inter county hurling..it doesn't send a great message to others in Galway,I might be proven wrong by end of year..also I'd question Flynn still being involved with the squad..keeper seems to have been sorted..fintan Burke has always impressed me,is he wasted at corner back?this is a game that I'm finding hard to call, surely Wexford come with something after last weekend but they look like a team to dependent on chin..who is down to ref the match?

That's telling you now, Viking. Of course, the man is infallible...within the space between his own two ears!

He scored 7 from play against us last year too.

I expect Galway to win handily if they play anything close to their standard of hurling

Wexford are a poor side, badly coached, average talent. If Galway can't get a convincing win then it might be curtains!

I'm not a big fan of clergy in general. Too many bad men in those organisations Mr Young;-)
