Replying To Viking66:  "Think you need 20 good lads to win an AI. If you lose 3 say to injury during the Round Robin you would need 23. And obviously every team has a few key players and you can't afford to lose too many of these."
That's no lie. If you don't have a deep bench you may as well stay home.

I do sincerely apologise for my "typo error " regarding the correct spelling of "speech ".
Yes unfortunately our Corner Backs were exposed very badly the last day v Clare, but its better to know it now instead of a crucial All Ireland Semi Final or Final.
We definitely need "solid " men for those positions.

As regards Mac yes he will always keep any fullback honest. He's a great striker off either side close in or out a little. Problem is when he's not at it he won't get the ball in his hand. And noone can score with no ball. And he's not always at it. He's suffered from us down here maybe having unrealistic expectations of him but sometimes you feel like running onto the pitch and giving him a boot up the hole!

Shefflin has a lot of decisions to make. I'm sure he'll do what has to be done as in trimming away any dead weight.

Your spelling is the least of your issues.

Grealish a very sticky cornerback come championship time. As solid as any team would want. Morrissey did OK last year too. Anyone putting alot of store in what happened in a League match this year is probably misguided.

Holiness no, pontification most definitely! However, my dear pontiff, your contribution is far superior to the Limwreckers' crowing & yanking!

Best of luck to the Pres Athenry in the all ireland final on Friday against a fancied Kierans team. Probably up against but any underage team with Aaron Niland in it will have a chance. A lot of other good hurlers in that team as well, Sean Murphy is a lovely player at the back and Tiarnan Leen at midfield has senior club experience. A good few of the team will be part of the Galway minor side that start out against Antrim on the 25th.

Please refrain from judging the Kaster. She's allowed to post all her silly nonsense on here, without censorship, whenever she likes. If you don't like it, scroll by it. Personally, I find her opinions and those of 2-3 more of her ilk to be great. They basically hand us all a huge big stick with which we can come on here and bate all and sundry (and the poor decent, reasonable Galway posters all get caught up in the flak). But such is a consequence of freedom of speech and expression.

Yes that's what we need sticky tight corner backs who don't get turned easily or give away silly frees because you won't get away with been loose come Championship time!

Amen. It would be great to see them make the breakthrough against the Masters of this Tournament.

Good luck to Presentation college Athenry today, in their All Ireland schools hurling senior final against the famed St. Kierans of Kilkenny.
