Crazy stuff" This is from one of the recent bulletins that come out after County Board meetings: It was pointed out that it will be very challenging to host intercounty double headers in Chadwicks Wexford Park until after the upgrade works are completed, as the dressing rooms are not adequate to accommodate an intercounty team and their associated backroom in a single dressing room. Followed the league games and very little in the way of promising football. Team named for Sunday anyway. I have been very vocal about my opinion about a few lads not being quite up to it at this level, and despite a less than impressive body of work this year, some of them are still in the side. Roche does have his favourites. Now I really want to get behind the lads, and despite not being able to physically attend the game due to a prior engagement, I will follow with interest. But it's all a bit inert at the minute. We keep chopping and changing, especially in pivotal positions, and while most of our losses in the league were narrow, there has been no noticeable improvement this year. I think we have a good chance against Offaly. They, I'm sure, are expecting to beat us handily. Apparently they have a few injuries also.
