Replying To Inamoto:  "No they didn''t kick the ball because they don't have the skill set to do it, the only 2 players that could kick the ball were the malones and the goalkeeper.
Fair play to them to stick to there game plan, they're a tough team and very fit. The wet pitch helped alot."
You're arguing against people who have seen the Shels play very regularly over many years as compared to your one day of seeing them.

So the state of the home pitch was one of the reasons the home team lost???

You've never heard of gaelic football referred to as football and association football referred to as soccer?

Replying To Onfor15:  "I was at the match.

The only controversial incident that you could be referring to, that helped Clongeen, was when the Cloughbawn full back was (correctly) black carded for dragging an opponent down off the ball and was subsequently (correctly) given a straight red for throwing his gumshield at the linesman walking off."
Well I would have thought the two black cards not given to Clongeen (one in either half) were the controversial incidents but maybe I was at a different match.

Was at the Gorey-Sarsfields game. Was a dogfight really. Naomh Eanna went 1-5 to 0-3 up at half-time, and there was only one score from play in the entire second half as they played keep-ball and defended well. Systemic fouling and a lot of verbals in a low quality second period and the referee done very well to keep control on things considering.

Some of the marquee players for Gorey were quiet enough on the day, their best were probably Jack Doran and Cian Molloy. Wing-back Micheál Kennedy looks to have some potential too. For Sarsfields, Conor Kehoe was rampant in the first half, but quieter after the break. Luke Murphy and Darby Purcell had some bright moments but Richie Lawlor was quieter than expected.

Was chatting to someone who was at the OLI/Fintans vs Fethard/Clongeen game. Said Cian Byrne was outstanding out of his teams 3-6 scored 2-4 , 2-3 of that from play while Kyle Rankin and Jack O'Leary were best of OLI/ Fintans.

All Gaelic pitches are heavy at this time of the year apart from Croke Park.

No i blame the referee, it was a foot block at the end of the game.
Shouldn't have been decided by that decision anyway.
Best of luck in the semis, yous will need it.

All jokes aside you seem particularly bitter, I don't think many of us expected yesterday's result and being honest I'm expecting a comfortable Naas win in the SF.

Always someone else's fault....... you'd swear Louth is a football stronghold with your comments/attitude...

Open draw is fairest way as very few teams appear multiple years in a row.

He has the pick of 2 of the countries top soccer clubs over the years. I'm sure he has heard Association Football being called soccer. Hes probably sore from losing is all . ......

Problem for our footballers going forwards is that nearly all those players will play hurling for the county in years to come.
