I see where the Lord Mayor of Cork is making a case that the Liam McCarthy Cup was 'Corks by right', because the father of the man the trophy commemorates was a Cork man, which indeed he was. However, Liam's mother was a Dineen from Crawford Lane in Bruff and it appears that Liam is enjoying some quality time with his mother's people.
