Well done ladies for div 2 winners and promotion to Div 1. Refreshing to see a Meath team play with flair, and free from fear. Well organised forward play and use of open spaces. Clear to see Eamon and his background team work quietly but effectively. Impressed with his interview after the match on Tg4. Well done to all !!

Well done and refreshing to see. These ladies deserve our support when restrictions are lifted. The huge sacrifice and effort put in for the county deservedly getting its reward.

Another excellent performance today. Completely dominated and should have won by more. Nothing to lose in the semi final now.

Superb performance today. While They defend in numbers, the transition to attack is very good. They all appear to be well tuned in to what the plan is. Some very accurate players too. Roll on the semifinal. They won't fear Cork.

Congrats, really good, enjoyed the football and the way they played-great skill and work rate on show, perhaps our senior county team could learn from watching. Much more enjoyable from start to finish than watching the Leinster football final between Dublin and Kildare which looked more like a soccer match with all the back passing.

Very, very solid performance. Playing to a plan where everyone knows their role. Should not fear Cork either as they are improving enormously from game to game. Keep it up ladies and of course to the gentleman involved in the setup.

Serious team the ladies are. I knew they were a group 1 animal when they ran Cork so close. Delighted for them all and the coaching staff

Unbelievable stuff from our ladies, 6 points down with 2 minutes left we then get two goals to bring it to injury time and then win it by 2, meath v dublin all ireland final now already looking forward to it.

Well done ladies. A comeback that rivals the mens teams of old and incredible maturity to see it out in extra time.

Great spirit shown by Meath today, refused to lie down when game was going away from them, all the qualities expected of Meath teams on show today.

Huge congratulations to the ladies, incredible win. What a comeback! A kepak jersey in croke park in September...inject that into my veins all day long!

Well done to the ladies. After the game I was looking at the Meath line-up on the internet, the website didn't give the club's the girls play for, anyone have a internet link which would show this?

Incredible.

This is what being a Meath person is all about.

I was one of the lucky ones to be there and witness it in person. Couldn't have been 5,000-10,000 who stayed for the Meath match, but what a match. 7 points down in the dying minutes and they get it to extra time. Then in the last 3/4 minutes of extra time they hold onto a one point lead and with the last kick of the ball score the insurance point. Amazing. And the Dubs in the All-Ireland final!!

This is who we are. The mighty rebels vanquished. Up the Royal County.
