""had to resort to cheating to win"" - I didn't see any Dublin player throw a GPS tracker at. a free taker, did you?? I suppose it would only be cheating if a Dub did it. Jack Mac's goal against ye in the drawn final was off the cuff...Con is a beautifully balanced footballer who can create something out of nothing. If it. comforts you to peddling this silly narrative that Dublin play like programmed robots go on ahead and indulge it, ...speaking. of multiple usernames......I have one user name here..but you yourself sere caught out posting from another username. avonali (Dublin) - Posts: 1990 - 20/06/2021 13:08:37 2352143 Link 2 |
That's not half bitter. The Dubs in full flow are a joy to watch, back in the day Diarmuid Connolly kicking scores for fun off both feet . I suppose haters are going to hate. Bon (Kildare) - Posts: 2157 - 20/06/2021 14:36:31 2352156 Link 0 |
Iv only 1 account avon but if it makes you feel better to think I have 2 that's fine as well its no skin off my nose. And what do you call all the dublin players pulling the Mayo players to the ground during their kick out at the end of the allireland final a few years back? Was it cheating? The dubs do nothing off the cuff, every little detail is programed into them from a young age, look at the way McDaid slipped seemlessly into mccaffertys position Last year, dublin are very athletic and when they get ahead of teams by 5/6 points then they pass/bore the team they're playing into submission and the team they're playing think they're doing great only being 5/6 points down to dublin. I was watching the Spain v Poland game last night and they do a load of passing as well (very boring) and Damien duff likened Spains passing tactic to a death of a thousand cuts and I feel the same when I watch dublin. Riddle me this lad, I know you hate Dublin, but is it not a little immature to never use a capital D when writing the word 'Dublin? That's a new level of bitterness lad, maybe some CBT? :D realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8693 - 20/06/2021 15:32:38 2352168 Link 3 |
For deep rooted stuff like that you'd need schema.

I agree Connolly was good, but then I think did he just stand out in a team of robots. I don't agree with you about dublin being a joy to watch , I find them extremely boring but everyone to their own. I know my views won't be popular but it was Jim gavin who came up with the words "the process" he always said the dublin team just stick to the process, they're his words not mine. I do agree that hearing managers and players referring to a game as a "process" is a wee bit cringe. Another one was Séamus Callanan in 2019 constantly calling the all Ireland final "game 5". I can see 15 years from now the all Ireland winning dressing room after the game, no songs, no celebrations, just the players nodding officially to one another, ticking a box then walking out the dressing room. Ya it'll all be just part of the process, win the allireland and plug back in to their PCs for debriefing, the tracker will have become part of their bodies by then so they'll be hooked back into the matrix. Have you not head of the cuff blanket defending. Everyone thinks Kerry are getting better at it. But down in Kerry its the greatest most creative of the cuff blanket defending of all time! ;) Sure you have to leave them with something. Your coming across as being a bit insecure multi, most dubs and pundits are happy to build us up so they can slag us when we eventually get knocked out of the championship, but you don't seem to like it, it seems to stick in your craw a bit :-) Just a little Stát for you, Kerry were top scorers in the league and David Clifford was top scorer in div1 finishing 3 points ahead of Costello from dublin , not bad for a team playing a blanket defence eh? KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 20/06/2021 18:31:54 2352196 Link 3 |
I'm afraid you did nt see much of Kerry during the league so User. On blankets. What about Dublin's eider down? When Donegal scored their goal against Dublin near the end of the game how many Dublin players were in their own half? Answer =everyone of them. 15.

Kerry.. off the cuff?! jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20753 - 20/06/2021 18:56:01 2352203 Link 5 |
Galway and Tyrone really helped you out with their absolutely dreadful non performances in a nothing to play for league Far as I can remember Kerrys last actual Championship game was far from off the cuff.. Great laugh that was though :) Although not surprising to see you take so much pride in Kerrys league form.. being far "more of a league team" these days ;) jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20753 - 20/06/2021 19:04:52 2352204 Link 3 |
Schadenfreude! Glad you enjoyed Jimbo but I myself prefer getting my pleasure from my own personal success or my family's success or my county s. I don't need to get my pleasure from others misfortune. I think there is a cure for it though. Most Dubs I know are not like that at all but don't despair.

Ha ha Ah Shure Look as they say in the greatest county of them all, its winning without winning really. Robo defense, if you cant get 15 behind the ball, drop a couple of forwards for defenders and hit the Munster final, of the cuffarama. If all else fails drag a few down when your caught short running back, give a free in the center and sure its the greatest of the cuff defending of all time, a pleasure on the eye, sure there wil be having fairs about it and Marty Morrisey will be wetting his Marks and Spencer briefs again, and the good ship Kingdom is rising. Captain Keane - ahoy, ahoy! The greatest off the cuff cute cynicism all time!!! #Asshurelook TheUsername (Dublin) - Posts: 4477 - 20/06/2021 19:31:18 2352211 Link 2 |

I'm afraid it was nt Kerrymen that pulled all those Mayo players down in the dying seconds of an all ireland final in one of the most dramatic collective synical passage of play ever witnessed in an all ireland final. I don't think it was organised though. It was probably off the cuff and won them the game.

Ahh now no need for that aul crap.. blah blah blah Guess it's just my honesty aye.. ;) I enjoyed watching Dublin toy with Kerry immensely.. why wouldn't I?? It was absolutely great to watch off the back of the smear campaign against Gough, the drawn final where Dublin proved their greatness beyond doubt, to then end up toying with kerrys rudimentary drivel It's the pinnacle Gave the entire thing far more gravitas.. It's really a compliment #itmeansmore This Kerry Off The Cuff nonsense is priceless though.. we'll just wait and see when the time comes.. The Jury is well out until then jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20753 - 20/06/2021 20:23:06 2352221 Link 3 |
