Congrats to Wicklow GAA on upsetting the odds today. Well done to John Maughan's Offaly on winning promotion, with a 5 point win over a battlingFermanagh side.

Limerick didn't get the massacre people were predicting here, well done Derry they look a very good team with counter attacking running and they have a strong full forward line too. Limerick gave them a good game and we will learn alot from it and we will be in contention for promotion next year.

Looks like they were perfectly balanced, one up and one down from each.

sorry in ways to see Tipp and Cavan relegated, it tarnishes their provincial wins of last year it could be argued..looking at the results on this website earlier and to see football and hurling league headlines in the middle of June though tells us this was no ordinary year or league (and probably championships) while other teams greatly avoided relegation, Tipp and Cavanhave given football neutrals a great boost at the end of last year, and both certainly are not up there high or long enough to be sort of almost rejoicing in their relegations to Division 4...for all the talk of the semi finals in Divison 1 Kerry beat Tyrone and Dublin beat Donegal..these games as the norm for the past few years were talked up and up by the media but the results are the same...well done to the sucessful teams including my own Offaly this weekend, and commiserations to counties like Tipp and Cavan...

Great to see both teams wanting to play...nothing is guaranteed for any team in the championship, so playing any final where theres a chance of silverware and playing in Croke will be an interesting game...I will have a go at predicting it later in the week...
