On that we can agree. And there is a difference i assume between a planned protest and an impromptu one currently, I assume planned protests are not allowed."
I'm not so sure about that, I think if people are putting peoples lives at risk, ignoring warnings to disperse and attacking Gardaí etc, no right minded person would have any issue with them being battered off the street, or the dogs set on them to take lumps out of them. They wouldn't be long dispersing then.

Sure there are no real right wingers in liberal Ireland, they wouldn't know real right wing if they saw it.

Some chance Bon !... was hoping Hoganstand would be a place to discuss/debate GAA matters for a bit of interest and relief from the bleakness and lack of actual sport going on....but almost every thread on here just ends up being highjacked by petty feuding between a few posters... 4 or 5 current top threads are examples.

If you've been reading this forum for a few years you'll have witnessed plenty of name calling ;)

Yes, mostly. But not in the true literal sense.

Some people here ask a lot of questions and won't answer any ones. Very childish behaviour by them. By the way happy Saint patrick's Day to everybody in Ireland, Africa/UK and all over the world.

Today we are all part of a global Irish community, be it Africa, England, Roscommon or beyond. Happy St Patrick's day and hopefully we get to see some balls kicked this year

I'm sure every Irish person in Africa can celebrate without fearing the dreaded tap on the shoulder anyway, and are able to travel back and over to Ireland when they wish. Lol.

Easy to see who's not happy with their lives when all they do is wonder about others. I'm starting a band called "The Wonderers", already have three members. Lol.

As long as you don't start comedy act you might have some hope.
Your clumsy attempts at humour speak volumes about how lacking in any fun it really is. Lol.

With the vaccination program struggling to be rolled out, I think the best case scenario is that there is an intercounty championship run off like last year - straight knock out in football and a backdoor in hurling; with provincial championships first followed by the all Ireland series. I fear that there may be no club championship in 2021 based upon the number of cases per day. The numbers have fallen but they remain at a high number on a daily basis and there's even been an increase overall in the last week which will stop the club championship restarting or resuming in some counties. I can't see there being time to run off the leagues unless they can condense the league in some otherwise the county teams will have no real on-field play in advance of the championship.
